Jack Howell Baseball Classic is wood bat event hosted by Pima Community College, operated by TIG SPORTS, in beautiful Tucson, Arizona. Tucson is where you’ll find the finest weather and fields ever to host a Spring Junior College Baseball event. All Games will be held at Kino Sports Complex.

The dates are March 14th-17th, 2012 and we’ll have games available up to two weeks before and one week after these dates for exhibition games.

The Jack Howell Baseball Classic was named in honor of Jack Howell the first Pima Community College athlete to make it into Major League Baseball. Jack Howell was born on Friday, August 18, 1961, in Tucson, Arizona. Howell was 23 years old when he broke into the big leagues on May 20, 1985, with the California Angels. Most recently he was the Hitting Coach for the Arizona Diamondbacks (2010)
